Follow the antics of Philippa 'Pip' Brown and her long suffering girlfriend Jude Daniels. Pip lives with Jude in the sleepy village of Lower Chiltern. Much to the exasperation of Jude, Pip usually finds herself in trouble or trouble finds her. In this short story, Pip turns detective. Mrs Garcia’s husband hasn’t ever been seen, and there’s talk in the village that she has had a new patio laid. Pip is determined to get to the bottom of the matter, before her girlfriend gets to the bottom of the matter with her. This is intended as a lighthearted series, generally ending up with Pip being taken in hand and given a sound spanking.
