Gary Bielfeldt is a major player in the futures market, particularly T-bonds, the world's largest futures market. Bielfeldt began his trading career with a $1,000 investment in the soybean market. By the early 1980s, his trading size had grown to the point that government-established speculative position limits were becoming an impediment, and Bielfeldt shifted to the T-bonds market. His trading philosophy is based on picking and becoming an expert in one area, rather than diversifying.
